Have a great Tuesday! Update on Harrison - he is fine! Feels great and went to school today excited about a field trip!
Was woken up at 4:00 this morning to a small voice "Dad, I threw up". Great! So needless to say I got up, cleaned up the mess. Dave put Harrison in his spot, set up the puke bucket and got on the couch! LOL Good times. What a way to start my Monday! Luckily Dave was able to stay home today as I am SUPER busy at work! Whew!

Man this month has just flown by and work has been busier than ever! I hope everyone had a great week and has fun plans for the weekend! We plan on doing some yard work, maybe rearranging our master bedroom, definitely scrapping and Harrison is having a sleep over! Good times!

I can hardly believe it is May 1 already! Very excited about spring being here and looking forward to some warmer temps here in Michigan!
We have been busy with baseball and just the same ole' same ole' daily grind. Max had a tournament in Canton last weekend and even though it was cold and yukky out we had a great time! My sister and nephew came to watch the games so that was fun! The Dawgs did not do very well but in the end I think they had a good time and that is all that matters right?! LOL
I was flattered to be asked by Cari at Imaginisce to be one of their Guest Designers for May! Check out their blog tomorrow to view some of my work! I got to play with the "Hello Cupcake" line! Imaginisce was very generous with product so I definitely will be using more of this line for my albums! Thanks Cari!

I can hardly believe it is April already - Friday the 13th non the less! Baseball underway and just waiting for that warm weather to return!
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! We had so much fun hanging out at my dads. Had our annual kick ball game (my team lost...wahhh) and decorated eggs! Good times.
Growing up the Veit family had a ton of cats! We loved our cats. We had one dog named Spot who died when I was still in elementary school and never had another dog. Well....now the Veits have picked the canine as the pet of choice! My boys are begging for one but I am holding off. I love the family dogs but I am really not a dog person at all (let's be honest, I was terrified of them growing up)!

I was sad to hear from my dad today that his older brother Jack (86) passed away.
Last week my dad, his sister and I went to visit Jack. We spent the afternoon with him - he loved the bananas my Aunt Madge brought him and loved sitting out in the sun on the warm March day we had.
We had all kind of plans to go back for more visits and I was going to bring my boys to meet him.
I am so grateful that we were able to spend time with him (and kicking myself for not getting my camera out of the car and taking pictures). He was a great guy. Love you Jack. Rest in peace.
