I cannot believe that tomorrow is the first day of August! Once again summer has really flown by! We were so lucky to be able to spend time with my family over the last couple of months. Trips to Toledo and Monroe, my little sister and nephews here from Illinois, my brother home from Colorado, our FIRST Tigers game. It has been great! I will be sad to see summer end but in a way am ready for my kids to get back into a normal routine (that means you Harrison!).
Max will be playing football for the Midland Chemics this year. I am in denial that my child will be in High School but I guess I knew the day would come - just didn't think it would come so fast. He is very excited about playing football for the Chemics. His dad had pounded the "blue blood runs deep" into his brain so he is ready to be part of the blue and gold!
Harrison will be in 5th grade at Plymouth this year. A milestone for him as well, his last year in elementary school. Now if I can't imagine Max in high school I really can't imagine Harry in middle school. LOL He will be playing Juniors football for the Midland Area Youth Football league. The one and only sport he plays and he loves it. Hoping for good coaches and fun parents! Harrison definitely needs to step away from the computer and start getting some exercise!
Below are a few pictures from my nephew Collin's graduation party last weekend. Another "I can't believe" moment - a high school graduate. I remember him as a baby and a toddler, he was always my little buddy. He is still my buddy and such a great kid!
Hope everyone is having a good week!
Check out the picture of my dad with the grandkids (we are missing Shannen and Lisa like crazy - wish they were here for this picture)! Everyone is outgrowing him! Sorry shorty! :)
